On October 21, 2007, John with Arlo and I with Elli tracked a wounded deer for Stephen Napiorski and his friend Jeff Mangold. Arlo was a leading dog on this call. The deer was shot at 7am and we tracked him 10 hours later. Arlo did an excellent job and jumped the deer, which was gut shot. We managed to catch up with the deer, which was subsequently dipatched by the hunter.
Finally Stephen caught up with the buck again and put in another arrow. What an incredible will to live this deer had!
