At Lena's : Laurel and I went to visit Lena on Friday, July 27, 2004. Barbie was already there, and later Lena's friend, Kevin, joined us. We had a great time chatting over quiche and wine. And most important, we had a chance to see Lena's old teckels and barbie's young Bernie.

Alain and Theo : On Sept 2-5, 2008 Alain and Marjolaine Ridel from Quebec, Canada visted us here at Berne, NY. They brought with them Theo, their seven-month-old teckel imported from France. We did some blood tracking training and retrieving from water with Theo. He proved to be a very promising pup, and Alain impressed us as a dog handler. Theo really excelled at blood tracking, on a 24-hour-old line. Theo is a very exuberant youngster with a huge personality. We enjoyed working with him and certainly enjoyed Alain and Marjolaine's visit.
