Jolanta Jeanneney  > Puppies > 2005 > "D" pups - Alfi and Elli's litter
On October 15, 2005 FC Elli v Moosbach-Zuzelek whelped a litter of 9 puppies, 7 girls and 2 boys. The sire is GS & FC Alfi von der Hardt Hoehe. We will post weekly updates on pups' development.

Jolanta Jeanneney > October 18 This is a male with a light blue ribbon, the largest pup in this litter.
Jolanta Jeanneney > October 18, 2005 Puppies put on quite a bit weight. The smallest puppy weighed at birth 250 grams (she was not small at all) and now she is 370 grams. The largest pup was 300 gr at birth and now he is 460.

Jolanta Jeanneney > October 17 Puppies are 2 days old and they are doing really well. Elli is an excellent mother and keeps them very clean. They are plump and well nourished.
Jolanta Jeanneney > October 15 When we got up in the morning there was one additional pup in the whelping box - so in total she had 9 puppies, 7 females and 2 males. They are identified by the color of ribbon around their necks. This allows us to keep track of them individually. Pups' weights range from 9 to 10.8 oz. They all are strong and nurse well.

Jolanta Jeanneney > October 15, 2005 Six hours later with eight pups born, she appeared to be done. We could not palpate any more pups and decided to go to bed.
