Fun Follows Function - Day 1 : The Hunting Dog Workshop "Fun Follows Function" was organized by Sian Kwa and Donna Schaffer on February 22-24, 2008 in North Carolina. First day was focused on blood tracking. In the morning slide presentations were given by Karl-Heinz Kraus and Anke Bogaerts. They were followed by blood trail preparation and dog training on previously prepared lines.

Fun Follows Function - Day 2 : Day #2 started with Sian Kwa's presentation "The Science of Scenting". In the afternoon dogs were tested for gun-shyness. Then we experimentated with flushing and trailing cottontail rabbits at the Quail Farm Beagle Club grounds. Afterwards we had a very informative presentation and discussion of various hunting tests for dachshunds. The day ended with a wonderful dinner and performance by a bluegrass band.
