On October 21, 2007, John with Arlo and I with Elli tracked a wounded deer for Stephen Napiorski and his friend Jeff Mangold. Arlo was a leading dog on this call. The deer was shot at 7am and we tracked him 10 hours later. Arlo did an excellent job and jumped the deer, which was gut shot. We managed to catch up with the deer, which was subsequently dipatched by the hunter.
Jeff and Stephen were very happy with the outcome. This was their first experience with tracking dogs, which made them "believers" in their role.
